Service Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Technician to join our team. The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and repairs, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Install new plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and other components in new or existing buildings.

Repairs:

Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and faulty fixtures.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including cleaning drains, inspecting pipes, and ensuring systems function correctly.

Troubleshooting:

Use plumbing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues and provide appropriate solutions.

Customer Service:

Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing problems, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Compliance:

Ensure all plumbing work meets local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

Documentation:

Complete work orders, service reports, and other necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Safety:

Adhere to safety standards and procedures to minimize risks on the job site and ensure safe operation of plumbing systems.

Emergency Services:

Respond to emergency plumbing situations, including burst pipes, sewer backups, and other urgent issues.

Teamwork:

Work with other technicians, apprentices, and contractors to complete large or complex projects.
