We specialize in providing high-quality residential and commercial HVAC services with a focus on integrity, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our ongoing contract with the Hillsborough County School Board. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity offering long-term stability, a supportive team environment, and the chance to work on meaningful public sector projects. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a variety of commercial HVAC systems Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, air handlers, heat pumps, and air-cooled chillers, DOAS Troubleshoot low-voltage and high-voltage electrical components Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics Communicate clearly with dispatch and facility managers Maintain safe and clean job sites, especially on school grounds Document work thoroughly using a company-issued iPad and field service software Follow all company and school district safety procedures Requirements Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience EPA Universal Certification Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass a Level II background check (required for school facility access) Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and diagnostic skills HouseCall Pro Software a Plus Preferred Qualifications Experience with school district or government facility contracts Hands-on experience with air-cooled chillers Manufacturer/OEM training or certifications What We Provide Company vehicle stocked with parts and tools Company iPad and field service software Fuel card and toll pass Company uniforms, safety gear, and tools Year-round work - no seasonal layoffs Schedule Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) Occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed Work performed on-site at Hillsborough County School Board facilities How to Apply Please apply directly through Indeed or send your resume to: info@stellarcoolingservices.com We're actively scheduling interviews and look forward to bringing the right technician on board as soon as background clearance is completed.
