: Responsible for the movement of pullets, field vaccinations and medication, and hen productivity. May also include gathering and transportation of eggs and hatchability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects farms for compliance with contract and coo perative agreement standards. Advises farmers on development programs to assist in producing quality poultry products. Conducts safety meet ings. Coordinates and/or han dles the movement of pullets. Performs field vaccinations an d/or administers medications. Weighs, handles and fle shes pullets, hens and males. Tracks and analyzes hen prod uctivity. May collect and transport eggs and track hatchability. May schedule and train other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related field.
EXPERIENCE
: Typically requires greater than 2 up to 5 years of
DIRECTLY RELATED
experience. Basic computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc ) SAP experience preferred. Must not own or come in contact with any poultry or fowl. No allergies to feathers, chickens, dust or ammonia.
