Real Turf Solutions is looking for a motivated and hard-working irrigation technician to join our team! The irrigation technician will be responsible for managing the irrigation service truck, inspecting irrigation systems, and making repairs to systems as needed. As an irrigation service tech, you will work alone or with an assistant. You will carry out irrigation system service calls dispatched to you. This will involve inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing issues with lawn irrigation systems. You will also need to check the controller and set schedules for the system to run. Our turf expert will assist in recommending the proper schedule based on the property and turf type. You may also assist our installation crews with the installation of new irrigation systems. You will need to be familiar with common irrigation brands, controllers, and products. Knowledge of irrigation system components and their functions will also be required. Honesty, dependability, accountability, and attention to detail are very important in this position. You will need to calculate repair costs accurately to provide the client with an estimate. You will frequently interact with customers at their property. A professional attitude is required. Do not apply unless you have at least one year of irrigation experience. Requirements 1 year of irrigation experience Valid driver's license Ability to pass DOT physical screening No major criminal history Ability to pass a drug test (without having to "study" for it. Preferred Criteria Hunter irrigation or equivalent certification MUST have prior irrigation experience of at least one year in the field. Please do not apply unless you meet this qualification. You will also need a driver's license and be able to pass a DOT physical screening since you will be driving the irrigation service truck.
