Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues early. Troubleshoot technical problems efficiently, diagnosing faults accurately and implementing effective solutions. Repair or replace defective components, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operation. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections clearly in logs for future reference. Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules, prioritizing safety and efficiency. Assist with installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration according to specifications. Follow safety protocols diligently, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment at all times. Inspecting vehicles for mechanical or electrical issues and identifying problems using diagnostic equipment Performing routine maintenance such as oil and brake changes Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective car parts and testing systems after repairs Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and repair timelines Ensuring tools and work areas are clean, operational and safe Keeping up with new automotive technology and repair best practices Qualifications Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting issues. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for documenting work performed and collaborating effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
