Service Technician

Join the Johnson Battery Company (JBC) team as a Service Technician! We have an immediate need for a mechanically inclined individual to join our team where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the service at our customer's sites by performing a variety of activities designed to service, repair and perform maintenance on industrial batteries and chargers. •We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification. Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled maintenance on industrial batteries and chargers Perform installation of industrial batteries and chargers Perform battery washes at customer facilities On-site repair of industrial batteries and chargers Clean, organize and maintain work area and company vehicle Complete all work orders and time sheets accurate and in a timely manner Complete warranty information, as required Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner Strong, independent work ethic; self-starter (must be able to self-manage your day) Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while providing an excellent customer experience Maintain a safe driving record Additional duties, as needed

Qualifications:

Current, valid driver's license and clean driving record Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and multitask; Detailed oriented Proficiency with smartphones and tablets (we use specialized software to track jobs) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Customer-service oriented Work ethics, attitude and personality that portray integrity, self-motivation, competitiveness, and persistence High School diploma or equivalent JBC is an
