Job Description

Position Summary The Hybrid Service Advisor / Parts Counter / Express Technician supports dealership operations by assisting customers with service needs, parts sales, and light maintenance services. This role requires strong customer service skills, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Service Advisor Responsibilities Greet customers and assist with scheduling service appointments Write repair orders and document customer concerns accurately Communicate recommended services and maintenance needs Provide updates to customers regarding vehicle status and completion times Coordinate with technicians and management to ensure timely repairs Process customer payments and close repair orders Parts Counter Responsibilities Assist customers and technicians with locating and ordering parts Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments Process parts invoices and returns Ensure parts department areas remain clean and organized Express Technician Responsibilities Perform basic maintenance services including: Oil changes Tire rotations Battery testing/replacement Multi-point inspections Wiper blade and filter replacements Inspect vehicles for additional service needs Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior automotive dealership or repair shop experience preferred Basic automotive mechanical knowledge required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Skills and Abilities Strong organizational and multitasking skills Basic computer proficiency Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance and attitude Attention to detail
