Job Description
Now accepting applications for an Optical Lab Technician. If you are the type of person that likes to move around, learn different tasks, and is self-motivated to stay busy, this job is for you! Precision Optical Group, Inc. is a wholesale optical lens manufacturing company. We produce uncut optical lenses, finished eyewear, and ship optical consumables around the country. We are looking for someone to fill a versatile role in our coating laboratory, data entry, and/or production area. This job needs someone reliable, learns quickly, stays focused, has a positive attitude, works quickly and accurately, and is a self-starter. This role requires someone who is detail orientated and can stay organized. The coating laboratory involves keeping lenses organized, cleaning lenses, and running them through a coating machine. This is all done in a climate controlled clean room. The data entry side of this position involves helping with the morning mail, running a frame tracing machine, and entering orders on a computer. There is so much to learn within the optical industry and Precision Optical Group is known for promoting from within and rewarding exceptional attendance and anyone who wants to work hard. All employees are subject to random drug screening. Must be dependable and reliable. Ability to multi-task and stay on task is a key to success here. Also, must be able to follow directions, receive constructive criticism well, work independently, work at a fast pace, be willing to learn and do different tasks, and be a great team player.
