Window Technician

Now Hiring Window Technician!! Job Description As a Window Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, replacing, and adjusting residential windows, glass units, and screens. You will also install screens, hardware, and miscellaneous window components. Your role involves diagnosing window operation issues and performing on-site corrections. Effective communication with homeowners and contractors regarding service timelines and expectations is essential. Responsibilities Repair, replace, and adjust residential windows, glass units, and screens. Install screens, hardware, and miscellaneous window components. Diagnose window operation issues and perform on-site corrections. Communicate professionally with homeowners and contractors regarding service timelines and expectations. Document service work, including photos and required paperwork. Load, transport, and deliver materials safely using company vehicles (non-CDL). Perform pre-trip load checks to ensure safety and compliance. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including receiving windows and doors. Support the sales team by assisting in quoting windows and doors. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Essential Skills 2-3 years of experience as a window technician. Strong knowledge of residential window systems, repairs, and adjustments. Ability to use hand tools and perform physical work, including lifting up to 75-100 lbs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Waterloo, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
