We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Asphalt Plant Service Technician to support the maintenance and operation of our asphalt plants. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring that our plants operate safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Duties and/or
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of asphalt plant equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, belt adjustments, filter changes, and component replacements Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime Maintain burners and fuel systems, including tuning and cleaning for optimal performance Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, and other critical components Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings Work closely with plant operators and management to identify maintenance needs and improvement opportunities Assist with plant upgrades, modifications, and installation of new equipment Perform general welding and fabrication as needed Perform other duties as assigned Training available Working in extreme weather conditions should be expected Willing to work varied and extended hours up to 7 days a week when needed Travel will be required
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven work history reflecting a minimum of 5 years of experience Must have mechanical, electrical, fabrication experience Must have a current Driver's license Millwright experience preferred Experience with Asphalt Plants preferred Must be able to meet company's attendance policy
