Location This position is located at Boise, Idaho corporate office, working scheduled business hours year around. Technicians will rotate days being on call, occasionally performing after-hours service calls. FLSA Classification This position is hourly, paid bi-weekly. Job Overview Responsible for facilitating service orders for installation, repairs, and replacements of various door, glass, & automatic operator systems. Responsibilities and Duties

• Accurately assess and diagnose problems with door/glass/automatic systems and make repairs as needed.
• Ability to work alone or with a team member to complete the necessary service & repairs.
• Make complete & detailed recommendations for any additional work that is required.
• Ensure that all work order documents and support documents (i.e. Third Party Forms, Pictures, Vendor Forms, etc.) are filled out correctly, completely, and all needed information is gathered.
• Follow all jobsite & driving safety procedures consistently to ensure a safe work environment for employees & customers.
• Maintain standard inventory of materials on the work vehicle and replenish stock as needed.

Work Conditions Environment, reports to the office and out in the field, spends a good amount of the day traveling to jobsites. Exposures encountered, such as hazardous materials, loud noise, or extreme heat/cold. Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, working overhead or in tight spaces. Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary

Maybe required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job. Skills, Education and Qualifications You must possess a Valid Driver's License and ability to be covered under company insurance. The ability to pass the AAADM Certification Exam after 6 months. Need good understanding of the use of basic hand / power tools. Good general knowledge of doors and hardware as well as all the products we use in our scope of work. Good knowledge of jobsite safety, proper lifting & safe material handling methods. Attention to detail & ability to reason / troubleshoot problems in mechanical systems. Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of Outlook and internet required.
