Technician Tach'd Out Mobile Repair Kuna, ID Job Details Full-time From $23.34 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Mobile Diesel Technician We are seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. This position focuses primarily on light-duty diesel diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, with an emphasis on Ford Power Stroke and GM Duramax platforms. The ideal candidate will possess advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities, be highly self-motivated, and able to operate independently in a mobile service environment. We are looking for a technician with a proven track record of accurately diagnosing complex drivability, electrical, fuel system, and engine performance concerns. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Ford Power Stroke and GM Duramax diesel engines. Perform advanced engine, fuel system, turbocharger, emissions, and electrical diagnostics. Complete repairs in the field with minimal supervision. Utilize OEM-level diagnostic software and equipment. Perform maintenance, inspections, and preventative repairs. Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations. Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records. Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience with light-duty diesel trucks, particularly Ford Power Stroke and GM Duramax platforms. Strong understanding of diesel fuel systems, high-pressure injection systems, turbocharging, emissions systems, and electrical diagnostics. Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Experience with engine overhauls, cylinder head repairs, timing components, and major drivetrain repairs is highly desirable. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls. Compensation & Benefits Company service truck provided.
