1st Shift | Monday - Friday | Daytime Hours 7:30AM -4:00PM Job Summary We are hiring a skilled Service Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain customer equipment and systems to manufacturer specifications while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for hands-on technicians seeking long-term career stability and growth. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-related equipment issues Repair customer equipment according to manufacturer specifications and service standards Complete repairs within agreed service timelines while maintaining high quality Inspect and test equipment to identify worn parts, damage, or malfunctions Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders Understand system design and operation to support accurate troubleshooting Communicate repair plans, timelines, and costs with customers and internal teams Provide customers with regular updates via phone, email, or text Accurately document all repairs in service logs or internal tracking systems Coordinate with administrative teams to ensure proper invoicing and documentation Work closely with management and inventory teams to ensure parts availability Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in small engine repair or equivalent mechanical repair experience Familiarity with plumbing systems or related industry equipment Training or hands-on experience in electronics and mechanical repair Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair tasks Required Skills Strong mechanical aptitude 2+ years experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs and complex problem solving Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong time management and organizational skills Detail-oriented with accurate documentation habits Customer service-driven mindset Why you want to join our team: Contract-to-hire path to long-term employment Stable 1st-shift schedule with work-life balance Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to grow with a reputable organization Weekly pay Amazing bosses and strong leadership
