Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of industrial systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery, utilizing technical expertise and a proactive approach to deliver exceptional service. Candidates with a strong mechanical background, industrial electrician experience, and excellent customer service skills will thrive in this energetic environment dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes efficiently. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance. Conduct troubleshooting on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits to ensure safety and reliability. Operate field service equipment like scissor lifts and other industrial machinery safely during maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of work performed using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for tracking maintenance history. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades. Qualifications Proven experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Demonstrated expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems (including low voltage and high voltage), hydraulics, welding (including <

> welding), and HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis techniques for troubleshooting complex machinery. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical schematics, and system schematics accurately. Strong customer service orientation combined with excellent communication skills in English. Industrial electrician experience or military background is highly desirable for this role. Valid certification in welding or HVAC/R is preferred; additional certifications related to industrial mechanics or electrical work are advantageous.
