Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician for our property, The Majestic. In this position, you will have the overall responsibility of maintaining the apartment homes, common areas and grounds, timely unit turns and ensuring that the needs of our residents are met by providing superior customer care. Pay commensurate with experience $23/hr. to $26/hr. + quarterly bonus Benefits that we offer you: Competitive Compensation Commission for lockouts and renewal leases On-call travel pay Quarterly bonus eligibility Medical, dental and vision insurance FSA Accident, critical illness and short term disability insurance Paid vacation and PTO Ten (10) paid holidays Two (2) additional paid days off, your birthday and work anniversary Two (2) paid volunteer days to support your favorite charitable organizations Employer paid life insurance benefits Employer paid long term disability Employee assistance program Continued training and professional development Health and wellness program 401(K) with generous company match Qualifications and Expectations Prior multifamily housing experience preferred 3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community Knowledge of various maintenance functions including plumbing, pools, HVAC, appliance repair and installation, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, life safety and cleanliness Ability to perform unit turn work timely to meet deadlines and with a great eye for detail Ability to resolve work orders efficiently and with care Walk the property regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness Availability to respond to emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and guests Ability to communicate clearly with proficiency in English Familiar with computer software and apps Assist at other properties from time to time Learn and comply with industry legal requirements, including federal and local fair housing Work both individually and on a team to maximize occupancy and achieve property goals Observe all health and safety guidelines Must have valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance Authorized to work in the U.S. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Community Manager and Service Manager About Us TLC Management is a Chicagoland based company that exclusively owns, operates and manages each of its residential communities.
