We are looking for a dedicated Windows and Doors Warranty Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, traveling to residential and commercial job sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain products under warranty. The areas that we currently serve encompass Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and will be based at our home office in Evansville, Indiana. Company vehicle and tools will be provided.Key Responsibilities:
InspectionDiagnosis:
Conduct on-site evaluations to identify root causes of window and door failures, including air/water leaks and mechanical issues.Precision Repairs:
Repair or replace insulated glass units (IGUs), sashes, frames, seals, and hardware (locks, hinges, rollers).Quality Testing:
Perform specialized tests, such as water spray tests, to verify that repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.Customer Education:
Explain repair processes and maintenance tips to homeowners to ensure a positive service experience.Documentation:
Maintain accurate digital records of service actions, including photos, parts used, and time spent, typically via a mobile app.What You'll Need Experience:
At least 2+ years of experience in window and door installation, carpentry, or field service.Technical Skills:
Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, glass cutters, glazing knives, levels).Physical Ability:
Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.Clean Record:
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for traveling between job sites.Self-Starter Mentality:
