Indianapolis area
Pay Rate:
$17-21/hr
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM start time Job Summary Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is currently seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Equipment Service Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of automotive equipment. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical background, experience using hand and power tools, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. This is a specialized field with hands-on training provided for qualified candidates on the equipment and systems serviced by the company. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair automotive equipment at customer locations Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and complete repairs in a timely manner Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs, service recommendations, and quotes Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs Maintain a high level of quality workmanship and attention to detail on all service calls Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist co-workers and customers as needed to support daily operations Complete additional service and installation duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools required Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid and clean driver's license required Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Preferred Qualifications Previous electrical experience or electrical troubleshooting knowledge preferred Experience servicing or installing automotive or industrial equipment preferred Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Peoplelink Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
