Month Pay Rate:
$40-43/hr 100% Onsite Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Trainer to join a corporate university training environment supporting next-generation infrastructure technologies. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience in structured cabling and technical instruction who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on training environment. The Senior Technical Trainer will spend the majority of their time delivering instructor-led technical training, onboarding employees, conducting labs and assessments, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), managers, and stakeholders. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor Associate Trainers and help support the development of training materials and programs. Responsibilities Facilitate employee onboarding and technical training using approved materials Deliver instructor-led training including lectures, hands-on labs, activities, and assessments Provide remediation and coaching support to ensure successful learning outcomes Track training attendance, employee progress, and performance documentation Collaborate with trainers, managers, leadership teams, and stakeholders Review, test, and provide feedback on training materials and curriculum Prepare and maintain training rooms, equipment, and daily classroom setup Coordinate training schedules, enrollments, and equipment logistics Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions Support development of new training content and online learning resources Coach and mentor Associate Trainers Travel as needed to support training initiatives Requirements 6-9 years of industry experience installing structured cabling, preferably fiber Telecommunications certifications preferred, especially BICSI Experience delivering technical instruction and hands-on training to adults Strong understanding of data center tools and infrastructure best practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Pay:
$40.00 - $43.00 per hour
Experience:
structured cabling, preferably fiber: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
• Industry certifications, preferably BICSI Certification (Preferred)
