Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment within an actuator shop. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, and valve actuators . The Service Technician will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of manufacturing equipment. Candidates with strong mechanical knowledge, industrial maintenance experience, and excellent customer service skills will thrive in this environment. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their technical expertise and grow within a fast-paced industrial setting. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting equipment. Troubleshoot, remove, rebuild and install mechanical gear boxes. Conduct repairs involving low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, and mechanical adjustments. Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance. Support field service activities by traveling to different areas within the facility or off-site locations as needed. Assist with installation of new machinery or upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and stakeholders regarding maintenance status or technical issues.
