About This Role Focus Handyman is hiring a skilled Residential Remodeler/Home Repair Technician to serve homeowners throughout the Kansas City Metro. The word handyman means different things to different people — but our work takes a well-rounded, experienced tradesperson who can deliver quality across a range of residential repair and improvement projects. What You'll Be Doing Perform residential repair, remodeling, and improvement work Complete drywall repairs, texture repairs, and painting touch-ups Install and repair trim, doors, hardware, and interior carpentry Repair wood rot, decks, fences, and exterior trim components Handle minor plumbing and minor electrical within company's scope Install or repair LVP flooring, tile, fixtures, and small bathroom items Communicate professionally with homeowners and keep jobsites clean and organized Ideal Candidate Several years of residential remodeling, carpentry, maintenance, or handyman experience Able to perform quality work without constant supervision Strong problem-solving and common-sense judgment Takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail Has their own basic hand tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Wants a long-term home with a professional, growing company Why Focus Handyman If you've been underpaid, jerked around on hours, or stuck somewhere with no structure, this is your chance to land with a company that runs things right.
