Our on-site teams are the heart of what we do, and we're looking for an experienced service and maintenance professional to support daily operations at Overland Station. About Overland Station Overland Station is a well-located apartment community in Overland Park, Kansas, offering comfortable one- and two-bedroom homes with practical layouts and modern conveniences. The property features amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and well-maintained outdoor spaces. With close access to major employers, shopping, dining, and key highways, Overland Station provides a convenient and welcoming living experience in one of the Kansas City metro area's most desirable suburbs. Your Opportunity as a Service Technician As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the community is well-maintained by completing preventative maintenance tasks, responding to resident service requests, and supporting the upkeep of the property's common areas and amenities. What You'll Do Review, plan, and complete service requests efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by the Service & Operations Manager. Deliver high-quality service to residents by addressing maintenance needs promptly. Assist with property upkeep, including grounds walks, lighting checks, and common-area maintenance. Support the Service & Operations Manager with various property-related tasks. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards while performing duties. What You'll Bring (Required Experience & Skills) 3+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts (at least one week a month) based on community needs. Experience working with vendors and team members in a service-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Customer service mindset with the motivation to create a great resident experience. Comfort with physical activity, with the ability to move heavy equipment and machinery as needed. Experience with property management software is a plus.
