Wichita, Kansas | Field-Based | Local & Travel Required Summary We are seeking a cross‑trained Field Service Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance of firestopping systems, fire and smoke doors, and fire dampers. This role supports life safety compliance while working independently in customer facilities.

What We're Looking For Experience in firestopping, fire doors, dampers (HVAC), or life safety systems Construction, drywall finish and hanging, caulking Ability to read Life Safety Plans (LSPs) and work independently in facilities Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office tools Self-motivated and dependable with strong customer service skills Willingness to support multiple service lines and travel Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to work on ladders, above ceilings, and in confined spaces Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work extended hours Ability to work nights or weekends as needed Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license required Employment contingent upon drug screen, criminal background check, and driver's license check Ability to travel as required for projects For more information about REMEDI8® or to find more jobs like this one, visit www.myremedi8.com EEO Employer, including disability/veterans
