We're looking for an Advanced Hardware Repair Technician who thrives on solving complex hardware issues, diagnosing failures others overlook, and restoring technology to peak performance. If you're the person who can identify a faulty motherboard, diagnose a no-POST system, resolve firmware issues, or pinpoint the root cause of an intermittent hardware failure, we want to meet you. This is a role for experienced technicians who are confident working independently, making technical decisions, and tackling repairs beyond basic component replacement. You'll work with a wide variety of desktop and laptop systems, performing advanced diagnostics and repairs that directly impact our success. Why BlairTech? Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Stable first-shift schedule with occasional overtime opportunities Comprehensive benefits package and paid time off Family-owned company with a family-friendly culture Casual work environment with talented, driven teammates Opportunities for advancement and leadership The ability to make a visible impact every day Work that keeps your technical skills sharp and growing Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop computer hardware Perform advanced motherboard and component-level troubleshooting Diagnose POST failures, boot issues, power faults, and intermittent hardware problems Update, configure, and troubleshoot BIOS and firmware across multiple platforms Install and replace CPUs, memory, storage devices, cooling systems, and other hardware components Validate repairs through software and hardware testing procedures Evaluate systems for cosmetic condition and document repair requirements Maintain repair quality standards while meeting productivity goals Share technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional computer repair experience Strong understanding of computer hardware architecture and troubleshooting methodologies Experience diagnosing motherboard, power delivery, and firmware-related issues Experience updating and troubleshooting BIOS and firmware Ability to independently diagnose complex hardware failures Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Dell, HP, Lenovo, and enterprise-class systems Familiarity with hardware diagnostic software and testing tools Experience with board-level repair or soldering is a plus Who Succeeds Here?
