Our on-site teams are the heart of what we do, and we're looking for an experienced service and maintenance professional to provide exceptional attention to the upkeep at Highland Station. About Highland Station Highland Station is a modern apartment community in Louisville's popular Highlands neighborhood, known for its walkable streets, local restaurants, and vibrant character. The property offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom homes with contemporary finishes and comfortable layouts. Residents enjoy amenities such as a resort-style pool, 24-hour fitness center, clubhouse, and well-kept outdoor spaces. With easy access to downtown and major employers, Highland Station provides a convenient and welcoming living experience in one of Louisville's most desirable areas. Your Opportunity as a Service Technician As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that the community is well-maintained through completing preventative maintenance tasks, resolving residents' service requests, and attending to the grounds and amenities throughout the property. What You'll Do Review, plan, and complete service requests efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by the Service & Operations Manager. Deliver top-notch service to residents by addressing maintenance needs promptly. Assist with property upkeep, apartment turns/make readies, grounds walks, and lighting checks. Support the Service & Operations Manager with various property-related tasks. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards while performing duties. What You'll Bring (Required Experience & Skills) 3+ years of experience in apartment, residential, hospitality, or related maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts (at least one week a month) based on community needs. Typical schedule for this role is Tuesday through Saturday, with flexibility required based on operational needs and emergency coverage. Experience working with vendors and team members in a service-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Customer service mindset with the motivation to create a great resident experience. Comfort with physical activity, as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery. Experience with property management software is a plus.
What We Offer Competitive pay:
The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 to $26.50. Your final compensation will be determined based on your skills, experience, and alignment with job requirements.
