High School Diploma or GED required Optical, medical office, retail, or customer service experience preferred Strong customer service skills with patient-focused communication Ability to learn optical products, lens types, and eyewear terminology Basic computer skills; electronic medical records experience a plus Experience with vision insurance verification preferred Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in orders, measurements, and records Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting Ability to assist patients with frame and lens selection based on needs and budget Perform basic optical measurements (e.g., PD) and eyewear adjustments Process eyewear orders, payments, and patient transactions accurately Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyeglasses as needed Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls efficiently Maintain frame, lens, and optical supply inventory Follow HIPAA compliance and clinic procedures Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience More Than Just a Paycheck.
