Repair Technician

Bayou Tool is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Repair Technician to join our service team. This role focuses on the repair and maintenance of a wide range of industrial tools, including cutting torches, regulators, hoists, pneumatic tools, electric power tools, and other shop equipment.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose issues with industrial tools and equipment Perform mechanical repairs on torches, regulators, air tools, hoists, and electric tools Replace worn or damaged parts, perform testing, and verify functionality Clean, assemble, and quality-check repaired equipment before returning to customers Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service turnaround times

Qualifications:

Experience with mechanical or small equipment repair preferred Familiarity with hand tools, air tools, and/or electric-powered equipment Basic understanding of pressure regulators and torch components is a plus Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
