Overview Join our dynamic team as a Solar Service Technician and become a vital part of transforming the energy landscape! Responsibilities Install, inspect, and service solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including rooftop and ground-mounted arrays Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute system setups Troubleshoot electrical issues involving high voltage and low voltage components using appropriate safety protocols Perform fixture installation, wiring, and connection of electrical components following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Utilize hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and construction site machinery such as forklifts to complete tasks efficiently Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, including plumbing integration where applicable Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, system modifications, and inspection reports Adhere to all safety guidelines related to electrical work, roofing procedures, and construction site protocols Qualifications Proven experience working as a commercial/ residential service tech or in electrical construction environments with knowledge of DC voltage systems Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical wiring practices Familiarity with NEC standards and safety regulations for electrical installations Experience with roofing projects or roofing safety practices is highly desirable Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plumbing fixtures, and construction equipment such as forklifts Ability to read technical diagrams related to solar systems and electrical components Construction site experience with a focus on safety and efficiency in fast-paced environments Valid certifications or licenses relevant to electrical work or construction preferred Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly Embark on a rewarding career that energizes communities while advancing your technical expertise!
