Job Description

Service Technician
Position Summary:
Provide superior field support on Renewal by Andersen products by performing services.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Service and repair previouslyinstalled Renewal by Andersen products
  • Analyze and resolvecomplex/escalated customerssituations, determines correctiveaction to be taken and verify theaction has fixed the situation in acost efficient and effectivemanner
  • Keep team member informed asneeded of customer interactionsand actions taken to resolveservice issues
  • Coach, train and mentor ServiceTechs
  • Keep service area neat andorganized, inventory service stockarea of warehouse; requestmaterial replenishment asneeded; provide detailedinformation to Service RSRs
  • Provide Signature Service tohomeowners and peers
  • Advanced knowledge of RbAwindow and door installationtechniques and ability to correctinstallation errors
  • Other duties as assigned bysupervisor
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • High School degree and valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Renewal installation experience
  • Meets the skills and competency requirements needed for Service Technician I
  • Ability to service and repair previously installed windows & doors. Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, door components, window coverings, and Hardware
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision-making skills; follow systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions
  • Ability to train others on technical application and product requirements
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $30.00 hourly.

PROFIT SHARING
In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
