Immediate openings available Job Summary The Service Technician provides hands on construction support for a fleet and service team, working both independently and alongside teammates. This role is critical to ensuring modular units and trailers are repaired, maintained, and prepared to high quality standards while meeting schedule and budget expectations. The Service Technician reports to a Production Manager or equivalent leader. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns within the yard or work area Perform repairs on mobile trailers and storage containers, including framing, basic carpentry, electrical, painting, flooring, plumbing, and general modular building repairs Assist with inspections of returned leased units to determine scope of repair work Support inventory tracking of tools, equipment, parts, and materials needed for service tasks and reordering Provide professional and courteous service to internal departments as needed Prepare trailers and modular units for scheduled delivery dates, ensuring high quality standards are met Perform HVAC system checks and maintenance when qualified and trained Clean, repair, and ensure all modular units are in excellent condition Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace using 5S principles Identify and report workspace or process deficiencies and work with leadership to resolve them Participate in safety meetings and required training Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments Offer feedback and suggestions to improve processes, efficiency, and safety Perform other duties as assigned

Service Technician Levels Service Technician I:

Demonstrates at least one specialty skill

Service Technician II:

Demonstrates two or more specialty skills Qualifications High school diploma or GED required One to two years of experience using hand tools, carpentry experience preferred Modular or construction experience preferred Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Willingness and ability to learn new construction methods and trades Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Strong teamwork mindset with a positive, solution oriented attitude Good communication skills for working with internal teams Ability to follow direction, manage timelines, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot issues Strong work ethic with reliability, honesty, and accountability
