Service Technician

Position Overview Sandollar Spa & Pool is seeking a skilled, dependable Swimming Pool & Hot Tub Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, and related equipment. You'll work directly with customers, perform field service calls, and ensure every job is completed safely, accurately, and with exceptional professionalism. Key Responsibilities Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on hot tubs, pools, saunas, swim spas, and filtration systems Diagnose issues with pumps, heaters, plumbing, electrical components, and water chemistry Conduct seasonal pool openings and closings Install and replace parts, accessories, and equipment Maintain accurate service records, photos, and customer notes Communicate clearly with customers about findings, solutions, and product care Load, unload, and organize parts, tools, and equipment Follow all safety protocols and protect customer property during service Support warehouse, delivery, and team operations as needed Qualifications Experience in pool, spa, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical repair preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently in the field Professional communication and customer‑service mindset Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable with physical labor, lifting, and outdoor work in all seasons Willingness to learn Sandollar's systems, standards, and service procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-75 lbs with proper technique Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in tight spaces Comfortable working outdoors in Maine weather Ability to stand and move throughout the workday Why Join Sandollar Spa & Pool Positive, supportive team environment Year‑round, stable work Opportunities for advancement into senior technician or leadership roles Work for a respected, community‑focused local business Training provided for the right candidate

$18.00 - $35.00 per hour
