Manpower is currently hiring an experienced Optical Technician / Optician for a full-time opportunity supporting a professional optical office in Adrian, MI . This role is ideal for someone with prior optical experience who enjoys working directly with patients and helping them find the right eyewear solutions.

$16.50-$17.50 per hour

Schedule:

Full time What you'll do Assist patients in selecting eyewear based on prescriptions and preferences Perform fittings, adjustments, and minor repairs to eyeglasses Take optical measurements including PD, prism, base curve, and multifocal measurements Verify prescriptions and ensure order accuracy Educate patients on eyewear options, warranties, and care instructions Process orders for frames, lenses, and safety glasses Maintain accurate patient and order records Support inventory organization and frame ordering Collaborate with optometrists to support patient care Qualifications Previous optical office experience required Ability to take accurate optical measurements Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable educating patients on eyewear options Experience with VSP or EyeMed ordering systems is a plus Retail optical or optometry office experience preferred Why apply Stable full-time opportunity Work in a professional patient-focused environment Supportive team setting Local Adrian position with consistent hours
