Position Overview We are looking for a personable and detail-focused Optician to become part of our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in eyewear and lens solutions, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Guide patients in choosing frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle needs, and personal style Perform precise measurements to ensure proper fit and lens alignment (including PD and segment heights) Read and accurately interpret vision prescriptions from eye care providers Educate patients on available lens materials, treatments, coatings, and proper eyewear care Fit, adjust, and perform minor repairs on glasses as needed Update and maintain patient information and assist with insurance processing when required Keep the optical showroom neat, organized, and fully stocked Stay informed on new products, eyewear trends, and optical advancements Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in optical, healthcare, or retail settings is helpful but not mandatory Strong verbal communication and customer service skills Comfort using computer systems, optical software, and point-of-sale programs is a plus Detail-oriented mindset with a patient-focused approach Benefits and Perks Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance benefits Paid vacation time and recognized holidays Employee discounts on eyewear products Training opportunities and ongoing professional development Friendly, supportive, and team-driven work environment Apply Now!!
