Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Perform electrical diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults in low voltage and high voltage systems. Repair or replace defective parts using welding skills—including welding—and mechanical expertise with industrial mechanics. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system manuals to facilitate accurate repairs. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and asset management activities. Support field service operations by traveling to client sites or manufacturing facilities to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly. Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to provide technical sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication. Operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at elevated or hard-to-reach locations. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical systems, high voltage equipment, welding operations, and industrial maintenance procedures. Experience Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a focus on equipment maintenance or repair. Strong background in industrial electrician work, including electrical diagnostics, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems—including HVAC—welding (including welding), hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and asset management is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems quickly and develop effective solutions under pressure. Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, or micrometers is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards related to high voltage systems, low voltage wiring, electrical blueprints reading, and industrial safety practices. Military background or technical training in engineering troubleshooting adds valuable perspective to the role. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions are essential.
