Job Description

Power Line Supply is seeking a full-time Tool Repair Technician to join the growing team!
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in handling materials, tools, supplies, and test equipment in a safe and organized manner. Disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble mechanical and hydraulic tools. Perform assembly and repair of mechanical grounds. Conduct testing of PPE, including gloves, sleeves, blankets, line hoses, hoods, and related equipment. Execute stamping, marking, and packaging of PPE in accordance with customer specifications. Adhere to all applicable testing standards, including ASTM, ANSI, NAIL, and other regulatory requirements. Interpret technical prints, schematics, and diagrams to support repair and testing processes. Perform testing of hot line tools and grounds both in the facility and at customer job sites as needed. Conduct dielectric testing of insulated buckets and liners. Assist with tool inventory management, including tracking, organization, and reporting. Ensure that all scheduling activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic tool repair is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
