Job Description

Are you an experienced level 2 - 3 Network technician? Come and join our Great TEAM at Abadata - Call Us Today! Abadata is an SMB with over 44 years in business in a unique and beautiful part of Michigan. If you love I.T. and love rural life then this is for you! We are looking for a unique individual with experience in networking and operating systems including Microsoft 0365. We are seeking a skilled Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure software and hardware components. Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated. Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions promptly. Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices. Maintain record of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues. Manage IT infrastructure including LAN, and VPN. Experience and or Certifications can include: Linux, WatchGuard Firewalls, Cisco (firewalls, switches, and routers), and other Network appliances would be extremely useful. If you have experience in an ISP environment consider this a plus, (however, we are not an ISP). A+ and Network+ are considered as default certifications (or equivalent).
Requirements:
Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and MacOS Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users. Experience in computer management and technical support is preferred. You must have transportation which you are reimbursed (very well), and a cell phone including text messaging capabilities.
