Service Technician 301 S Mill Street, Fergus Falls, MN 56537 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time The Service Technician is responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure proper garage door performance, while providing exceptional customer service and adhering to safety standards. This position works on residential and commercial garage doors. Our team of Service Technicians are critical to the success of our business and are the friendly face serving our customers. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour or more based on experience. EZ Open is a locally owned and operated company. This position would be working in the Fergus Falls, MN area. Job Responsibilities Typical Service Technician job duties include, but are not limited to: Installing garage door hardware and products while ensuring that they work correctly and safely Diagnosing garage door issues and troubleshooting ideas to fix problems Repairing broken or damaged equipment either in the field or at the shop Educating users about the correct use and upkeep of their products Adhering to safety standards Experience and Education Requirements Driver's License required, must be insurable by company standards High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds 1 or more years of service industry experience preferred Prior garage door instillation experience preferred Must have ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and manage time A motivated, well-organized individual Benefits Join a family-owned and operated company dedicated to service.
