About This Role The Drone Technician is a hands-on role responsible for keeping our agricultural spray drones flight-ready and our customers supported. This position combines technical repair work with customer interaction, beta testing, and training delivery. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with customers, and eager to learn the ins and outs of drone technology in an agricultural setting
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair customer spray drones, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues Provide customer service over the phone and in person, answering technical questions and guiding customers through troubleshooting steps Being comfortable flying the drone and beta testing it. Taking notes and helping with the improvement of the drones software Conduct test flights to verify repairs, validate firmware updates, and ensure drones meet performance standards Lead customer training sessions as needed, teaching safe operation, basic maintenance, and best practices for agricultural spraying Document repair work, test results, and customer interactions accurately. Qualifications College degree in an ag-related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with electronics Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions Ability to learn new technical systems quickly Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Benefits Health/life/dental/vision plans PTO plan Retirement Plan with a 3% match
Profit Sharing Program Pay:
$20.50 - $23.00 per hour
