Job Description

Role Description The Service Technician is responsible for providing hands-on field service support for Automation equipment in customer facilities. This role focuses on installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and automation systems, while delivering a high standard of customer service. The position operates primarily in the field and supports customers across assigned territories. Scope of Role (Field Service) Perform on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of automation and materials-handling equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in the field. Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Provide technical support and training to customers on operation, safety, and basic maintenance. Accurately document service activities, time worked, parts used, and job status in company systems. Travel extensively to customer sites, including overnight travel as required. Represent company's Automation and Bettcher professionally while working at customer facilities. Comply with all safety standards, customer site requirements, and company policies. Collaborate closely with the After Sales, Engineering, and HR teams to support customer satisfaction and employee compliance. Perform all duties in accordance with company safety, quality, and compliance standards. Maintain accurate timekeeping, expense reporting, and documentation. Uphold company values, ethical standards, and professional conduct expectations. Work Environment Field-based role involving frequent travel to customer facilities. Work may include weekends, extended hours, and overnight travel depending on customer needs and service schedules. Requirements added by the job poster
- 1+ years of Automation Machinery Manufacturing experience
- Valid driver's license
