Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Marine Service Technician, where your expertise will drive the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of marine vessels and equipment. Duties Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on marine vessels, including engines, electrical systems, rigging, and mechanical components Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to execute repairs with precision Fabricate and modify sheet metal or other materials to meet specific vessel requirements Conduct welding, soldering, and heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to industry standards Assist with assembly and installation of new equipment or systems on vessels Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on marine or heavy machinery maintenance Strong electrical experience and familiarity with schematics and wiring diagrams Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, soldering irons, and welding equipment Experience with rigging, fabrication, sheet metal work, and vehicle or vessel maintenance Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various working conditions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Knowledge of military systems or experience working in military environments is a plus Familiarity with maintenance procedures involving precision measuring instruments like ohmmeters and calipers Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant environment dedicated to excellence in marine services.
