Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Road Service Technician and become the essential link in keeping heavy machinery, commercial vehicles, and industrial equipment operating smoothly and safely. In this energetic role, you will provide on-the-spot repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide variety of vehicles and equipment in the field. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime for our clients and contribute to their productivity and success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery, develop your technical skills, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform on-site repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, tractors, and farm machinery, ensuring optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, and automotive diagnostics tools. Conduct repairs involving transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and electrical components with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and fabrication techniques to repair or assemble machinery parts. Assist with tire service, brake repair, wheel alignment, and heavy lifting tasks to restore equipment functionality efficiently. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or tractor-trailers safely during service procedures. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed or completed.

Skills Proven dealership or heavy equipment service technician experience with a strong mechanical background. Skilled in fabrication, welding, soldering, and assembly of various machinery components. Knowledge of excavator, crane, tractor-trailer operations, and farm or industrial equipment maintenance. Familiarity with OEM schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, transmissions, and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication of technical issues to clients. Strong problem-solving skills combined with mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
