NMHSConnections Job Description Customer Service:

To provide customer service with timely and accurate repairs to radiology equipment.

Installation:

Assist with installations of imaging systems.

Emergency Service:

The incumbent provides emergency service in an on-call capacity.

Equipment Knowledge:

The incumbent serves as a source of technical information and training. Extended travel is required to attend OEM training.

Regulatory Knowledge:

It is essential that the Incumbent provide good documentation of maintenance to meet FDA and JCAHO requirements.

Budget:

The incumbent is expected to provide input in budgeting and have an understanding of all departmental functions.

Requirements:

An associate degree or higher in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Radiology Technician and at least five years' experience on specific imaging systems is preferred. The Incumbent must know JCAHO, NFPA, and SMDA standards. Basic computer skills are required. This position requires the ability to trouble-shoot electronic equipment to component level.
