Service Technician

Service Technician Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial foodservice equipment, including cooking, preparation, ware washing, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration systems. Travel directly from home to customer locations and perform on-site service calls with minimal supervision. Deliver outstanding customer service while meeting productivity and performance goals. Accurately document service activities, repairs performed, parts utilized, and equipment conditions. Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage inventory effectively. Participate in on-call rotations and overtime as needed. Build strong customer relationships through professionalism, technical expertise, and responsive service.

Service Technician Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical systems, appliance repair, or building maintenance. High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification required; HVAC-related certification or degree preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel daily for service calls. Willingness to attend technical training at the company's headquarters in Troy, OH. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.
