Duties Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawn equipment, and generators Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and options clearly to clients. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in sales by providing recommendations for additional services or products based on customer needs. Skills Previous dealership or service technician experience is highly desirable. Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals related to engine repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with generator repair and electrical systems is essential. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks as required. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client interactions and satisfaction.
