You'll be the trusted specialist who restores productivity—combining mechanical finesse, electrical insight, and calm communication to bring Mitsubishi laser cutting systems back online. We invest in comprehensive training so you can build a rewarding, long‑term career in machinery and manufacturing technology. How you'll make an impact Serve on site at customer facilities, troubleshooting and repairing complex faults on Mitsubishi CNC lasers. Carry out detailed inspections, component swaps, rebuilds, alignments, and system calibrations. Deliver remote triage by phone to expedite solutions when travel isn't immediately required. Translate technical findings into clear updates, timelines, and post‑repair guidance for customers. Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams to pinpoint issues and execute precise fixes. Document service actions thoroughly and submit accurate expense reports on time. Uphold the readiness of tools, test equipment, and service vehicles. Contribute to additional tasks that drive exceptional customer outcomes. What it takes to succeed Background with machining, manufacturing environments, or industrial equipment.
Fluency with diagnostic gear:
voltmeters/multimeters; precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. Comfort with Windows PCs and service software. Clear, professional communication in writing and speaking. Able to work at heights as needed. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel extensively Monday-Friday. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred preparation Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, or related discipline. Evidence of strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Experience reading manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams. Hands‑on use of voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and related electrical measurement tools. Proficiency with indicators, micrometers, feeler gauges, and similar precision instruments. Travel rhythm Most weeks involve Monday-Friday travel with typical return by Friday evening. Travel is primarily regional, with the possibility of nationwide or occasional international assignments. Environment & safety Work primarily takes place indoors at customer sites and may expose you to temperature swings, noise, and typical industrial conditions. Frequent driving in a personal vehicle or company‑approved rental; mileage or rental reimbursed per company policy. Occasional overtime; safe vehicle operation is essential. Physical capability Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, standing, and repetitive hand work. Lift/carry up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Push/pull equipment up to 50 lbs.; heavier loads may be moved with carts or mechanical aids. Good visual acuity, including color recognition.
