Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems within our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting overall production goals. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic issues and complete repairs in a timely manner Inspect equipment and identify issues before they lead to failures or downtime Install, maintain, and repair production or facility equipment as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with equipment upgrades Communicate effectively with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in a technician, maintenance, or industrial role Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems Familiarity with tools, diagnostics equipment, and maintenance processes Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Comfortable working in industrial or production environments Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Elizabeth City, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
