Job Description

Job Purpose:
As a Service Technician at Deacon Jones Auto Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our clients' vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner. Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and advancements to provide the best service possible. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and customer service. Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles accurately for future reference.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair. Proven track record of performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of automotive systems. Experience working in a dealership or automotive service center is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to automotive repair. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain repair processes and outcomes to customers clearly. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to automotive repairs.
