Full-Time Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship with excellent service.Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, low water pressure, broken fixtures, and water heater problems. Install, maintain, and inspect plumbing systems such as piping, fixtures, water heaters, and water treatment equipment. Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure efficient operation. Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests. Accurately document all work performed, materials used, and time spent. Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of needed repairs, options, and costs. Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle, tools, and equipment. Follow all safety procedures, plumbing codes, and company standards. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely job completion.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred. Valid plumbing license (Journeyman or Master, as required by state/local laws), preferred but not required. Grade 6 backflow certification preferred but not required. 2+ years of plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial environments. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and repair techniques. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks. Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
