Jul 20, 2026 Job Description Position starts on or about July 20th, 2026 Supervises and trains school kitchen managers' and staff in food production, HACCP, point of sale, inventory control, ordering, equipment operation, safety, special diets and USDA regulations. Works in kitchens as needed to cover staffing shortages or to facilitate training. Must possess the ability to build and maintain a positive team environment within kitchens. Responsible for specialized projects as assigned. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Data entry experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive. Must have a valid driver's license and be available to travel to school sites on a daily basis. Restricted Manager Food Handler Permit (require), Food Protection Manager Food Handler Permit (desired). Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts Degree or other related fields desired. This position will work from 6:30am to 3pm during scheduled work days. $27.09 per hour plus benefits for the 2026/2027 school year This position is subject to veterans preference.
