Mobile Phone Repair Technician Location:
Salem, NH Company:
uBreakiFix by Asurion About the Role We are looking for a reliable, technically capable Mobile Phone Repair Technician to join our mobile repair team. This role launches from our Salem location using a company-provided service vehicle stocked with the tools and parts needed for the day's assignments. You will travel throughout New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts to complete pre-dispatched phone repairs. Mobile assignments focus exclusively on phone repairs. You will be responsible for managing your route, completing repairs accurately, maintaining control of assigned inventory, and communicating effectively with customers and supporting stores. Professional phone repair experience is strongly preferred but not required. Candidates without professional experience may receive structured training and should demonstrate strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, independence, and the ability to learn quickly. What You'll Be Doing Begin assigned routes from the Salem location with a company-provided service vehicle, tools, and repair inventory Travel throughout New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts to complete pre-dispatched phone repairs Follow assigned appointment schedules and manage daily route logistics Perform all mobile repair work inside the service vehicle Maintain high repair quality while minimizing rework and repeat issues Document repairs, parts usage, testing results, and appointment outcomes accurately Maintain accurate control of tools, devices, and repair inventory Follow all parts-handling, ordering, return, and inventory procedures Communicate delays, repair complications, and route changes promptly Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the service vehicle Support nearby store locations when operational needs require it Mobile Role Expectations Mobile assignments are limited to phone repairs. Repairs are not performed inside customer homes.
You will be expected to:
Work independently while following established repair procedures Manage a daily route and remain on schedule Communicate professionally with customers and store teams Maintain accurate control of tools, devices, and repair inventory Follow all testing, documentation, and quality-control requirements Escalate repair complications or customer concerns appropriately In-Store Support Expectations Although mobile route work is the primary focus, this position may also support stores within the service area when route volume or operational needs require it. While working in-store, you may be asked to: Assist customers with check-ins and pickups Support phone and other consumer-electronics repairs Help manage shared repair queues Coordinate with front-of-house and technical team members Support general store operations during high-volume periods Additional role details, service territory, and scheduling expectations will be reviewed during the pre-call and interview process. Experience and Qualifications Phone repair experience is strongly preferred but not required Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn Valid driver's license and safe driving history Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong organization and attention to detail Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility Professional communication and customer-service skills Experience in electronics repair, mobile service, delivery, routing, or logistics is a plus Compensation & Growth Competitive hourly base pay Pay negotiable based on professional experience and subject to an in-store technical assessment Performance-based raises tied to repair quality, reliability, route execution, and operational accuracy Structured technical training and continued skill development Advancement opportunities into senior technical or management roles Ability to Commute Salem, NH and assigned service areas throughout New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts (Required)
