About Us Storage Management Systems USA (SMS-USA) is a leader in robotics and industrial automation for the storage and warehouse solutions industry. We design, build, and service proprietary automation systems and small industrial robots used in high-density racking environments. Our team is hands-on, technically driven, and committed to delivering reliable, well-engineered solutions to our customers. Position Overview SMS-USA is seeking Service Technicians with a strong interest and foundational experience in electrical, mechanical systems and industrial controls. This position is a mix of shop-based assembly and field service work, supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial automation equipment
- Install, service, and support automation systems at customer sites
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Assist with panel wiring and sensor installation
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Follow all company safety procedures Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong electrical aptitude
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Required Traveling
- Owns basic hand tools Preferred Qualifications
- Technical or trade school training
- Industrial automation experience
